About the Role
• Look for experience in Retail and Banking domain where they have implemented payment lifecycle (auth of various payment methods - CC, DC, Gift card etc. with various Payment Gateway vendors, settlement of payments, refund of payments) or any other domain where the payment experience is.
• Then migration of Legacy Payment system to a modernization arch/platforms using Microservices (java, spring boot).
• Experience in AWS cloud container platforms like ECS/EKS, API Gateway etc. which is secondary.
• Dev Testing of APIs using various tools. Experience in using various dev tools like IDE, Unit testing etc. AWS experience is mandatory.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend engineer for 5+years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Primary Skills:
• strong experience in development in Core Java and REST.
• Strong Java with Spring boot.
• JUnit with Mockito or other testing framework experience.
• Strong Experience with a microservices architecture is a must.
• Strong Experience with RDBMS(MySQL/Postgres/Oracle) or NoSQL(MongoDB).
• Highly experienced with Security tools such as SONAR, OWASP.
• Complete understanding of CICD - Jenkins, automation, pipeline.
• Conversant in Performance Optimization, Caching, etc.
• Exposure to Kafka or any message broker is an added advantage.
• Exposure to the cloud is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of SEO; URL structure, structured data
