About the Role
- Experience in creating and running automation tests for execution in build pipelines to test integration, regression, load, and performance testing of API applications
- Design and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright/Copilot for web applications.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications.
Identify, analyze, and report software defects through automated testing processes.
- Work closely with manual testers and developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective automated test cases.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of the automated testing framework.
- Conduct code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of software engineering experience
4+ years of experience in creating and running automation tests for execution in build pipelines to test integration, regression, load, and performance testing of API applications
Possess excellent problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of database and other relational systems
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and integration/deployment of test suites into pipeline
Experience working in an agile development environment such as Scrum and Kanban
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Certification in automated testing tools or related areas.
Knowledge of other automation tools and frameworks.
Experience with API testing and performance testing.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
